Energy OnRamp: AESP’s Onboarding Cohort
Overview: Energy OnRamp is a six-month guided program designed to help organizations and their staff get up to speed in the energy industry while building lasting professional networks. Participants learn through a mix of self-paced courses, live virtual trainings, mentorship, peer connections, and community check-ins. The program blends structured learning with meaningful relationships so participants leave with the knowledge, confidence, and connections they need to succeed.
Program Highlights
- Self-paced courses tailored to your role, covering fundamentals, utility business models, demand flexibility, and soft skills like leadership and communication.
- Live virtual courses with the cohort:
- Nov. 4, 2025 – Energy Management Essentials (first live event)
- Dec. 9, 2025 – Energy Audit Fundamentals
- Jan. 13, 2026 – Essential Techniques and Calculations
- Mar. 24, 2026 – Energy Project Implementation
- Cohort kickoff meeting in November to connect with peers, set expectations, and meet your program buddy.
- Mentorship with an experienced AESP professional (six monthly sessions).
- Peer connections through Colleagues Connect (our buddy program) and monthly group check-ins.
- Networking and career growth via complimentary access to AESP’s Emerging Pros group.
Schedule
- November: First live session (Energy Management Essentials, Nov. 4)
- November: Official program kickoff + peer buddy introductions
- November–April: Mentor sessions (six total)
- November–April: Monthly cohort check-ins aligned with live courses
- April: Cohort wrap-up and next steps in AESP engagement
Program Completion
- At the end of the program, participants will receive CEUs/PDHs and a certificate recognizing their successful completion of the Energy OnRamp cohort.

- Nonmembers: $2,225

*You’ll earn CEUs for this course by attending the full session and passing the final quiz with a score of 70% or higher.

Cancellations received no later than 14 days prior to the training date will receive a refund, minus a 5% processing fee if paid with a credit card. Cancellations received after the cutoff date and no-shows will not receive a refund (cash or points). AESP reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time with reasonable notice given to all participants.
AESP is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). AESP complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, AESP is authorized to issue the IACET CEU. AESP instructors disclose in advance that they have no interest in any product, service, or material discussed during the course. This information is stated orally and in the training course handbook.
