We’re excited to announce our next CARE Book Club pick: Powerless: The People’s Struggle for Energy by Dr. Diana Hernández.  In this book, Dr. Hernández looks at what it really means when people don’t have reliable or affordable energy and how that affects everyday life. Powerless focuses on real people and real communities while integrating concepts of equity and energy insecurity.

We invite you to join our Book Club meeting to discuss the book, share thoughts, and learn together. When possible, we encourage buying the book locally, borrowing from a library, or purchasing used to support your community.
